April-May 2009. Holy shit am I slow...
but I'm finally making progress on this little guy. I built a tent
in the garage to blast the frame and other paint parts that are too big
for the cabinet. A little pvc and some 6 mil plastic, a few clips
and tape, a left over piece of plexi and poof... a sand blasting
tent. 6x4x6 foot no less.
Big thanks to Larry for letting me bum
all his sand blasting equipment.
Blasted and primed.
One issue to have a patch welded. I
took it over to my buddy Larry's to get patched. Thanks to Steve for
actually being the one that welded it or who knows how long it might have
taken... Just busting your balls Larry. ;)
Big props to big John for helping me get
a crucial dent out of the side of the frame.
Mocked up and looking good. I am
really starting to feel good about this.
Waiting for a carb float to come in and
also a cable kit.
